KINGSTON, Ont. (06/11/12) Kingston Penitentiary was built between 1833-1834 and was known as the "Provincial Penitentiary of the Province of Upper Canada," starting in 1835. This penitentiary has been a historical icon for Kingston since the early 1800’s. This photo was taken on Tuesday November 6th 2012, to show the difference and how the building still stands today.
