This photograph is one of the most recent works of mine and I think it has a lot of depth to it. For example the way the three different colours on the slide along with the curved line of the slide make the photograph look three-dimensional. I also think that this photograph shows some of my strengths, for example I love to find little features and moments in time. I feel that this was a moment that makes people feel happy and alive.

This Photograph shows three little boys having fun going down the slide while at the Kingston Fair with their parents. It was a nice night out for them all and I like to remind people that you need to get out once and a while.

I attempted shooting sports action and I have not yet finished the editing process so we will see how that went at a later time.

My name is Laura Boudreau and I am a photojournalist. I have been taking photographs since I was small. My main inspiration was my grandfather who was an amateur photographer for many years. I started taking photography lessons when I was 15 and have been getting shooting experience ever since.

My favorite type of photography is portraiture and features. I love to play around with lighting and make a photograph more intriguing. I enjoy a fancy night out with friends and travelling and finding new stories and landscapes to document. I am now going to school to further my education at Loyalist College. I am taking Photojournalism here an I am now in my second year with great confidence. I will be working hard to publish and make myself available for whoever needs to hire a photojournalist.
